Designer Fence
This fence, made with laser cut panels from Ballarat Pressings, changed the whole appearance of the sixties house it was made for. Panels like these have become a feature of many gardens but this fence reveals a whole new use for them and has been greatly admired by passers by.

Tenth Street

It has been 6 months since the renovation at 98 Tenth St Hepburn Springs was completed and now that the dust has settled and the tradies have gone, Viv and I have had time to reflect and enjoy our new home.
Neither of us relished the thought of going through the process of interviewing builders who we hoped would do a great job at a reasonable rate and share our passion for what we were wanting to achieve. That job went to Adam Kenyon from Builderlink in Melbourne.
Adam did all the legwork for us. He said the most important things to consider were that: the builder would not go broke; he has a great team of people behind him; is a licensed builder who will give a fixed price quote.
Jo has a genuine passion for what they do, won’t cut corners to compromise the integrity of the project and has a genuine regard for skill and craftsmanship.
Adam interviewed 6 potential builders who were given our brief, and basically came down to 2 builders of which Adam said “l believe Warren Hughes is the best candidate.”
We met with Warren and immediately felt confident about his ability to meet our expectations. He showed us some of the projects he was working on and were impressed by his attention to detail and the skilled craftsmanship of his team. At the end of that day we knew we had found our builder. He had a non nonsense approach to his work and he was a straight shooter but he was also very easy going and approachable. We knew that we could work with Warren.
Building and renovations is not an exact science. Sometimes things change, sometimes plans aren’t clear, sometimes you decide upgrade or downgrade, sometimes you decide to add to the project eg solar panels, solar hot water, more insulation, front gates, decks etcJ. Every single time these things came up, Warren’s can do attitude came through. Nothing was too much trouble.
We can’t believe how fortunate we are to have had Warren and his team, especially Mark and Tim, helping to create our home. We love it.
We could not recommend Warren Hughes builders more highly and have done to may people already. We would be happy to talk to any of warren’s potential clients to discuss our experience.
